The Popular Show Campaign 4 Reveals the Soldiers Party

From the very beginning of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with deep backstory, a wide array of characters, and a gripping narrative including divine entities, fiends, and dark forces increasing in strength within Dol-Makjar.

Heads-up: Revealing details for the latest installment of the new season follow below.

The Warrior Group Introduced

The third episode ended with a major cliffhanger and introduced the first table of adventurers who will separate from the primary party to undertake their independent quest, separate from the remaining groups.

The Soldiers table features Teor Pridesire (played by Travis Willingham), Thimble (the talented performer), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).

The Reason for Division

Given a large ensemble, it was evident from the beginning that keeping everyone at the same party would be impossible.

That’s why, the initial installments of this story serve as an Prelude, intertwining the individual narratives before branching into three separate parties: Soldiers, Strategists, and Questers.

What Defines the Combat Party

Per the Dungeon Master, the Soldiers table is for players who prefer a classically intense combat and conflict-driven gameplay experience where peaceful solutions are few and far between.

Upon first impression, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might appear mismatched, but the actions of the latest installment demonstrate why these five characters are ideally matched for the combat party.

Motivations for Departure

For one thing, the group understands precisely where to go next after a violent opening clash with the enemy group.

An old friend of Thjazi Fang—whose passing initiated the story’s plot—exploited The Crow Keepers for his own means, entering the secret base, attacking the character, and stealing all the enchanted items to auction.

The antagonist then paid off his obligations and fled to a Halovar stronghouse in the northern region, beyond the urban center, with Cyd close behind.

Character Drivers

Secondly, each adventurer has a personal reason to depart the urban setting:

  • The rogue, as Thjazi’s partner and best friend, wants retribution.
  • The adventurer has experience in the northern area and warns that it is a hostile location.
  • The warrior and Wicander, having disobeyed his house’s orders to kill Teor and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • However, their status as important members in House Halovar could assist the party enter places they typically wouldn’t be able to.
  • Additionally, The grateful character swore a eternal obligation to The cleric for his rescue and will now go with him everywhere.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are hunted by the rulers that govern Dol-Makjar for a multiple motives, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The rogue and Kattigan are notorious outlaws.
  • Tyranny and The cleric turned against the influential house and the legion of demons they are allied with.
  • Teor is marked for death by the family.

This leaves them few options but to head to the remote area in quest for Casimir.

What’s Next?

From the recent installment’s post-show segment, we find out that the warrior group won’t be around the following episode, leaving the other eight cast members to assemble the Questers and Planners groups.

Fans can expect finding out which adventurers will be in which group in the story’s last Overture episode, streaming live on October 24.
